Coffee Bay Accommodation
Coffee Bay is a lovely town found in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. One of the highlights and must-see points of interest is the Hole in the Wall. With that in mind, we spent a night in this quaint town so we could be up early the next day and visit the Hole in the Wall. When searching for accommodation we came across a place nearby. After calling and confirming that there was availability, we arrived at Sunset Bed and Breakfast, Coffee Bay accommodation.
Location
Sunset Bed and Breakfast is easily located on Main Road, Coffee Bay. It was a few minutes away from the beach and city centre. The accommodation was simple to find and easy to access from the road. And it was situated in a great neighbourhood.
Sunset Bed and Breakfast and Rooms
There are two twin rooms with garden views available. The room comes with a terrace overlooking the garden. Outside on the patio, you will find a table and benches. We stayed in one of the twin rooms and it was extremely spacious. The bedroom leads to a private bathroom, which contains a dressing area with a clothes rack, sink, shower, and toilet.

Check-in process
The check-in process was simple and convenient. As we made a telephonic booking, when we arrived we were shown to our room and thereafter we proceeded to the reception area to make our payment. The accommodation does have card facilities which sped up the process.
The Hostess
Sunset Bed and Breakfast is run by Lindie who was a warm and welcoming hostess. She was very friendly, answered all our questions, and even offered us ideas for activities to do in the area. Lindie was knowledgeable about the area and provided us with insight into the Coffee Bay area itself.
Facilities
The room itself was well maintained, clean, and quite spacious for two people. There was hot water for the shower and towels were provided. In addition, there was a mosquito net over the bed, if needed. The room also had a mini-fridge as well as a coffee/tea station.

Other facilities which the room had were the following:
WIFI – Yes
Towels – Yes
Parking – Yes
Fridge – Yes
Fan – Yes
Kettle – Yes
In addition, there is a breakfast offered at an additional cost as well as a restaurant called Sunset Sushi and Grill on the premises where you can chill and order food and drinks. There is ample parking at the premises.

Highs
One of the highs was how spacious the room was, the comfort of the bed, and the facilities provided in the room. Another high was that it’s centrally located to the attractions.
Lows
A low was the WIFI, as you do not get any signal in your room. When you are in the reception area the signal is very strong, however, in the room itself, there was no WIFI signal.
Booking forum and price
We made a telephonic booking and arrived at the venue and paid via card facilities. The room cost R600.00 per night, however, this would be dependent on the time of booking.
You can check their availability and book for your upcoming trip here.

Recommendation
Overall if you are looking for Coffee Bay accommodation I would recommend that you check out the Sunset Bed and Breakfast. The only issue we experienced was the WIFI, however, because we had a long day and weren’t working we didn’t really mind. However, all the facilities, the cleanliness, as well as the friendliness of the host, more than made up for it.
